MSc degree programmes at the LSBF

MSc programmes at LSBF develop recent graduates into effective managers in the corporate finance, financial management and investment banking sectors.

Our MSc courses are industry focussed programmes that give ambitious students the opportunity to build their managerial toolkit. The syllabus on each course drills down through the theory to look at how managerial functions are applied in the working environment. Our faculty comprises of industry experienced lecturers who bring a wealth of practical insight into the classroom.

In addition, the Management Dissertation, which forms a key element of each programme allows students to develop a project based around their specific career aspirations or using a real-life project.

LSBF offers the following MSc programmes:

• MSc Finance¹: essential management preparation for students who aim to succeed in senior corporate finance roles
• MSc Digital Marketing²: reflecting the exponential growth of online marketing, this programme has been specially designed to integrate the latest thinking in both marketing and digital technology
• MSc Investment Banking & Securities²: a unique new programme for the banking industry

LSBF’s Academic Development Committee, formed of experts on the frontline of the global economy, has used recent crises as a template for these unique and vital programmes, which aim to give our students a competitive advantage in the global employment market.

All the programmes below are subject to final validation and are expected to launch in February 2009.

• MSc in Mergers and Acquisition and Corporate Restructuring³
• MSc in Pension and Fund Management³

All of these degrees will also be available in with the Certificate in Global Financial Management, LSBF’s new and innovative programme giving our students practical experience in the worlds most pioneering financial markets.
